During the COVID-19 pandemic, mutual aid groups and other volunteer-led organizations have sprung into action, creating neighbor-to-neighbor networks of assistance to take care of people, providing food, medicine, and more where the government has failed to respond to the crisis. One year after the shutdown, Cell Vision correspondents Michelle LoBianco and Lily Reszi Rothman are traveling to groups across New York City sharing photos, words from the people doing the work, and ways that you can donate or get involved.
